What can be learned as an individual

It is generally thought that college education must be harder than high-school education because the college is the next step of the high school. Many people say to go to university if you want to study at higher level, however, is it really right decision for those who wish to study more? For here, the tendency of many of the Japanese college students is shown with exemplifying the two differences between what they learn from high school education and what they do in university; curriculums, and the use of money.

As already suggested, the college is one of the borderline for students’ academic background when they get their work after education. In fact, however, they don’t go to college only for studying. It is shown in curriculums they can choose. At high school, they usually have no choice on what class they take, however, college has a system they can, and this system consequently produces the bias of knowledge. Moreover, the opportunities they select their subjects are not what they want to study, but are what they can get courses easily. This tendency does not make students high-educated, but just makes them who like cozy. Then, what waits for them with loss of enthusiasms for studying?

Generally speaking, college students tend to have more amounts of time in contrast of high school students have. That is based on subjects which is easily able to be gotten points unless they always attend the class. Since they have extra time, they start to think of how they use it, and they usually use it to work a part-time. The money they earn from it is often used to buy their own fashion, or what they like because they don’t have to care about their life; they usually live with their parents, or their parents send money for life regularly. Of course, human gradually learn about anything with long way round, however, this time (money) must not be applied to be the one which can be used in wrong way. Everybody should have worked out their life without much money in high school days.

As shown, what students learn from college is less important than what they do from high school. In terms of getting their personalities through the extra time with their friends, it can be said the college is important, however, high school is better place for those who wish to study in highly level.
